Note: OBITUARY - DOROTHY ALGIRE - 1988
Dorothy Algire was born 13 May 1925 in Watertown, N.Y. to Eugene and Anna
Maria Mayfill Recore. She married Harold E. Algire on 18 July 1987. She died
7 May 1988 at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, Ontario. She is survived
by her husband; by five sons, Gary (Lisbon), Arnold and Larry (Culpepper,
Va.), Dalwin (Morley) and Ronald (Ogdensburg), and by one daughter, Mrs.
Kenneth (Charlene) Poore (Ogdensburg). She was buried in Notre Dame Cemetery
in Ogdensburg. She was pre-deceased by one sister, Helen Blair, and by one
brother, Royal.

Darlene confirmed the connection of this Dorothy Recore with Eugene Recore.
She said that Dalwin had married Nancy Domminie.

COMMENTS
Grandmother Como told Dad that Leona's son died in a boating addident while
still a baby. He slipped out of his mother's arms and she was unable to save
him. I have no confirmation of this story as yet.
