Death of James A. Hoadley, 81, of 1101 Mechanic St. in Ogdensburg, N.Y. on 5 September 1992 at the Burlington Medical Center i Vermont. Funeral was 9 September. Burial was in the Ogdensburg Cemetery. He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Donna Goodreau Rumsey and Mrs. June Goodreau Gabriel, both of Syracuse. He was prececeased by one sister, Mrs. Helen Goodreau, and two brothers, Charles and Harold.

She also mentioned that the records show that on 20 Nov 1755 Joseph arrived alone in South Carolina on the Endeavour, having been deported from Beaubassin. This was about the time of the great deportation of the residents of Acadia.

Jean is generally acknowledged as the first Pitre settler in the New world.
