Polly, Mary (b. 12 JAN 1845, d. 17 NOV 1922)

years old and is living with her parents, William H. Polly and Delia Polly.

can read, write and speak English.

INFORMATION FROM STEVEN BARCOMB
Steve has an individual work sheet on Mary Polly that indicates that she died
in 192(?) in Newark, N.Y. Her birth date is given as 12 January 1845 in
Russia, N.Y. She is the daughter of William H. Polly and Delia (?). She was
married to Louis Napoleon LaFlair.

ST. JOHN'S Church BULLETIN - 26 NOV 1922
Note in Church belletin stated that Mrs. Mary O'Hagan was buried 20 November.

COMMENTS
I have a picture that indicates that Mary may have been married to a Brundage
before getting married to Louis N. LaFlair. This is confirmed by Steven
Barcomb in Syracuse, who is descended from Mary also. He says that family
legend has it that it was a very short marriage and ended when Brundage was
killed in a farm accident involving a silage cutter.

After her marriage to Louis N. LaFlair ended, Mary was married to Civil War
vetern Francis John O'Hagan on December 31, 1902 in Ogdensburg, N.Y.
I have a beautiful full-color decorated marriage certificate from this
marriage that came to me with Dorothy Cayen's belongings after she died.

The 1910 US census indicates that Mary had nine children and that four of them
were still living. I only know about the four children listed here.

Note: OGDENSBURG CITY DIRECTORY

COMMENTS
The census indicates that James arrived in the U.S. sometime around 1868-1871.
He worked as a cooper. The census says he was born in France, but he may
have been born in Canada. I linked Louis and James up to James and Catherine
LaFlair through the death records from the Ogdensburg City Clerk.
